Christian A. Sorensen served as Nebraska Attorney General, 1929-1933. He is famed for his role in the destruction of the Dennison crime family and political machine in Omaha. His sons followed him into politics. Theodore Sorensen served as speech writer and adviser to U.S. President John F. Kennedy. Philip Sorensen served as Nebraska's lieutenant governor, 1965-1967.
