Philip C. Sorensen was Nebraska's lieutenant governor, 1965-1967. Longtime law professor at Ohio State University. He clerked for Federal Judge Robert Van Pelt from 1959-1960 and practiced law in Lincoln until elected in 1965. Sorensen was the son of Nebraska Attorney General Christian A. Sorensen and brother of Ted Sorensen.
