Merlin Paul Lawson

A long time geography professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Lawson's interests included the historical weather of the Great Plains, meteorology, climate change, and the effects of climate change on coral reefs. In addition to teaching, Lawson held a research appointment at the Center for Advanced Land Management Information Technologies. He has served as Dean of Graduate Studies at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
