Clark grew up in Lincoln and married Paul Fennimore Clark, a Lincoln lawyer, state legislator and, in 1912, Congressional candidate. She lived in Lincoln from 1867-1912. Several of her stories were published in the magazine Youth's Companion. She had two novels published posthumously.
