Partner, with N. Bruce Hazen, in the Lincoln architectural firm of Hazen and Robinson, which designed a number of important buildings in the Lincoln area. Hazen and Robinson were the local partners with Philip Johnson in the design and construction of the Sheldon Art Gallery. Other projects included Bennett Martin Public Library, Kimball Recital Hall, Westbrook Music Building, Woods Art Building, and Canfield Administration Building, a number of local businesses and churches, and the memorial chapel at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd.

Robinson authored two cookbooks that were hand printed.
