Carolyn Johnsen

A reporter and producer for the Nebraska Public Radio Network, the predecessor of NET radio, Johnsen specialized in agriculture and the environment. Some of her stories were also carried on NPR, the BBC, and Monitor Radio. She taught in the journalism faculty at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln before retirement. Work for her book, Raising A Stink: the Struggle Over Factory Hog Farms in Nebraska, 2003, was supported by the Fund for Investigative Journalism.
