Albert B. Tibbets

Born 1888-12-09 Hastings, NE (USA)

Tibbets was a journalist and writer of children's books. He was elected to the Nebraska State Legislature (1915-1917) under the slogan "Give the Young Man a Chance." He left Nebraska for New York where he worked briefly as a reporter for The New York World before World War I. After serving in the Army in WW I, he worked as a sales manager for the National Lead Company. Married to magazine writer Helen Ferris. He was deeply involved in the Boy Scouts organization in New York state.
